Appraisal Junior Analyst
Anchor Loans · Bogota
Job description
About the role
Anchor Loans, a private direct lender founded in 1998 and owned by Pretium Partners, lends to residential real estate investors and builders, specializing in bridge loans, ground-up construction and single-family rentals. It is hiring a Junior Analyst to handle appraisal-related tasks, organized around seven areas: document preparation, appraisal placement and tracking, hybrid inspections, commercial appraisal ordering, invoicing, cost analysis and appraisal portal maintenance.
Key responsibilities
- Document prep: review ready orders in the Document Management System, send gaps back to the LAC, write the Value As statement and run the router.
- Appraisal place and chase: check the router result, build the LOE, source an appraiser within 48 hours, track delivery, apply the missed delivery rule and confirm AIV and ARV before review.
- Hybrid inspections: order through the Inspectify portal, track delivery, act on access alerts, upload the report to AGG and send it to the appraiser.
- Commercial appraisal ordering and prep: order appraisals and environmental studies, assemble the appraiser's package, and check each report against the engagement.
- Invoicing: reconcile invoices against orders and approved fees, resolve vendor disputes and close each month with every completed order matched to an invoice.
- Cost analysis: report cost and turn time by product path, track fees by market and vendor, and maintain vendor scorecards.
- Portal optimization: maintain appraisal platforms and the Inspectify portal, support the move to ValueLink, replace manual steps with system events and keep SOPs current.
Required profile
- Full-time availability; an internship is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to read a purchase contract, rehab budget and construction plans and summarize what they say about the property.
- Professional written and spoken English for daily contact with US appraisers, vendors and loan staff.
- Disciplined follow-up across many open orders, with every action recorded in the system.
Required skills
- Strong Excel: lookups, pivot tables and reconciling two lists.
- Use of the Document Management System, Inspectify and AGG.
What we offer
- Highly competitive performance bonus.
- 15 paid legal vacation days and paid Colombian holidays annually.
