About the role
We are looking for an Assembly Operator (DT I) to join our manufacturing floor. The role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining production equipment to meet quality, cost, and schedule targets.
Key responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot machine tools, chemical processing, assembly, and packaging equipment.
- Move, pack, and sort raw materials and finished goods.
- Monitor product quality, identify defects, and initiate re‑work when necessary.
- Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis.
Required profile
- Basic knowledge of job procedures and tools gained through work experience.
- May have vocational or technical education.
- Works under moderate supervision; routine problems may require interpretation of procedures.
- Ability to communicate information that needs explanation.
