Associate Managing Director, Investigations Diligence and Compliance

About the role

Kroll is seeking an Associate Managing Director to lead financial crime compliance, fraud prevention and investigative engagements. The role combines client‑facing sales responsibilities with the delivery of high‑quality forensic and risk‑management projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage financial crime compliance, fraud prevention, business intelligence gathering, internal control reviews and risk‑management consulting engagements.
• Develop leads, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts and oversee project delivery from planning through invoicing.
• Identify and pursue new business and cross‑selling opportunities while maintaining strong client relationships.
• Lead client engagements independently, ensuring quality, budget adherence and ethical conduct.
• Provide expert analysis of complex data and situations, and mentor Financial Investigations team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 10‑15 years of experience in financial crime compliance or forensic investigations.
• Proven sales‑oriented client management focus and ability to generate new business.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English, with excellent research and writing abilities.
• Active participation in professional associations related to fraud investigations or forensic technology.
