Automation Engineer (Remote, Full‑Time)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Automation Engineer to own and evolve the automation infrastructure that drives key business operations for a fast‑growing SaaS startup. This fully remote, full‑time position is ideal for candidates with 1–2 years of hands‑on experience building production‑grade workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain end‑to‑end automation workflows for lead management, CRM processes, reporting, and internal operations.
• Develop and troubleshoot multi‑step, multi‑branch automations using platforms such as Zapier or Make.
• Integrate AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude) into live workflows, handling prompt engineering and structured outputs.
• Write, debug, and optimise Python and JavaScript code that powers automation logic.
• Document workflow designs and automation logic to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to the long‑term automation strategy.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience building complex automations on Zapier, Make, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including object relationships, field mapping, and lead conversion.
• Hands‑on experience with API integrations, webhooks, payload handling, and error management.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and deliver reliable solutions.
