About the role
The Public Areas Assistant is responsible for keeping all public spaces of the Four Seasons Cartagena hotel clean and presentable, ensuring a high standard of hygiene for guests and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Clean public consumption areas, lounges, bathrooms, lockers and showers.
- Maintain back‑of‑the‑house and office spaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting and emptying waste bins daily.
- Report any items found, damages, hazards or irregularities to Security and the supervisor immediately.
Required profile
- Minimum 6 months experience in cleaning for chain hotels, resorts, airports or restaurants.
- Basic English vocabulary related to the role (preferred).
Required skills
- Operation of polishing machines.
- Use of pressure washers and professional Karcher cleaning equipment.
- Knowledge of furniture and carpet washing techniques.
- Handling of cleaning chemicals and solutions.
