About the role

The Uniform Assistant ensures the proper handling, maintenance, and distribution of uniforms for both staff and guests at Four Seasons Cartagena. This position involves repairing garments, managing inventory, and supporting the laundry department to uphold the hotel’s high standards of appearance.

Key responsibilities

• Assign, personalize, and adjust uniforms for newly hired collaborators.
• Repair and alter clothing for employees and guests, including hemming, button replacement, and embroidery.
• Record uniform items sent to laundry and track their return.
• Inspect uniforms, separate damaged items for disposal, and store approved garments in the appropriate department.
• Exchange dirty uniforms for clean ones for all staff members.
• Report any abnormal damage or misuse of uniforms to the laundry supervisor.
• Embroider employee numbers on uniforms for better control.
• Perform special embroidery requests from the housekeeping department.

Required profile

• High school diploma (Bachiller).
• Minimum 6 months experience in a similar role, preferably in hospitality.
• Intermediate knowledge of tailoring and garment repair.

Required skills

• Proficiency with sewing machines.
• Experience in hemming, button attachment, and embroidery.
• Ability to press and iron garments.
