Bilingual Call Center Agent – French & English (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual customer service agent fluent in French and English to provide remote support for an e‑commerce client that sells smart, solar‑powered motorized window shades. The role is 100 % remote and requires handling inquiries via phone, email and live chat.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver empathetic, non‑robotic support to customers, especially parents purchasing toddler shoes.
• Prioritize and triage urgent tickets, ensuring order modifications are processed before warehouse cut‑offs.
• Manage multichannel interactions across voice, email and chat, sometimes concurrently.
• Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams, identifying needs and offering appropriate solutions.
• Take ownership of issues through to resolution while meeting performance KPIs.

Required profile

• Excellent written and spoken French and English (C1 level).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service role.
• Experience in e‑commerce operations or support, preferably with platforms such as Shopify or Gorgias.
• Availability to work weekends on a rotating schedule and flexibility for shifts that may include night hours.
• Strong communication, active listening and problem‑solving abilities.
