Bilingual Logistics Coordinator – After Hours Track and Trace

About the role

This position serves as the night desk for a modern, clean‑energy transportation fleet. The coordinator is the primary voice for drivers and customers during overnight hours, ensuring safety, timely communication, and smooth execution of the pre‑planned load schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain regular contact with every driver on the road throughout the night shift.
• Provide real‑time assistance with directions, gate instructions, appointment times, fuel and CNG station queries, and hours‑of‑service questions.
• Monitor driver fatigue and enforce safe shutdowns when needed.
• Answer the after‑hours phone line within 10 minutes and return calls promptly.
• Deliver status updates to customers and proactively notify them of potential delivery delays.
• Reschedule appointments and update the Transport Management System (TMS) for the day team.
• Escalate load coverage, driver pay, safety incidents, and equipment breakdowns to the appropriate manager.
• Prepare a detailed handoff note for the morning team summarizing overnight activity.

Required profile

• Bilingual (English and French) with excellent verbal communication skills.
• Available to work overnight shifts (10 PM – 7 AM) Monday‑Thursday, with weekends off.
• Strong focus on driver safety and customer service.
• Ability to make quick decisions and wake managers when urgent issues arise.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Transport Management System (TMS).
