Business Analyst I Intern - Colombia

About the role

Cisco is looking for a full-time Business Analyst I Intern in Colombia to join its Multi-Country Region (MCR) team. You will work closely with and be mentored by Diana Tamashiro, who will guide you through the projects and help you grow your skills. The intern takes on key operational and analytical tasks so that Business Development Managers can focus on strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Operational support: manage documentation, create trackers and keep operational tools organized and up to date.
• Analysis and reporting: prepare data analyses and help build dashboards (e.g. Tableau) to support business decisions.
• Lead management: help classify and assess new leads to focus on the right opportunities.
• Marketing and communication: coordinate event logistics, help share success stories and keep partners informed.
• Project support: track project deadlines and take part in key initiatives to gain hands-on experience.
• Market adaptation: tailor reports and presentations to the needs of each market.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills for documentation and administrative tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Preferred: experience or coursework with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Preferred: basic understanding of project management and task tracking, and interest in marketing, event coordination or business development.
