Business Consultant, Retail

About the role

Onebeat is seeking a Business Consultant to partner with retail and supply‑chain leaders across Colombia or Mexico. You will guide customers from the discovery phase through solution design and long‑term adoption, ensuring they extract maximum value from the Onebeat platform.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct discovery workshops with executives and operational teams to identify business goals, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
• Translate identified gaps into practical solution recommendations and act as a trusted advisor throughout the evaluation process.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Implementation teams to define solution scope, build business cases, and deliver compelling presentations.
• Support customers during onboarding, go‑live, and post‑implementation to drive adoption, monitor outcomes, and mitigate risks.
• Facilitate executive business reviews, highlight realized value, and identify expansion opportunities.
• Represent the customer voice internally, providing feedback to Product and Leadership teams.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising, planning, or supply‑chain processes.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, comfortable addressing senior, executive‑level stakeholders.
• Hands‑on, execution‑focused mindset with up to ~15 years of relevant experience.
• Self‑motivated, eager to learn, and able to move fluidly between consulting and implementation tasks.

Required skills

• Retail industry knowledge (merchandising, planning, supply‑chain, operations).
• Consulting and solution‑design experience in retail technology or transformation projects.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
