Business Development Manager – Border Solutions

About the role

SITA is a global leader in border management, helping governments secure borders while enabling seamless travel and trade. As a Business Development Manager you will drive growth by building strong customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and shaping innovative solutions for government accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop go‑to‑market strategies and generate qualified leads across government accounts.
• Maintain a strong pipeline, manage forecasts and drive early customer engagement through workshops and industry events.
• Shape deal strategies, including pricing, positioning and competitive tactics, and support the development of complex solutions.
• Stay current on border management trends, technologies and market developments.

Required profile

• 5+ years of proven success in sales, pre‑sales or business development.
• 3+ years of experience in government, border management, security, defense, aviation, identity, biometrics or related technology markets.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and navigating public tenders, RFPs and government procurement processes.

Required skills

• Salesforce for pipeline and forecast management.
• Strong ability to analyze, track and consolidate market data.
