Business Development Specialist – LATAM Public‑Sector Software Sales

About the role

The Business Development Specialist will drive growth for our software solutions across Latin American (LATAM) public‑sector transport authorities. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will identify, qualify and close new B2G opportunities while building lasting relationships with senior government stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Research and analyse government procurement pipelines to uncover new business opportunities in targeted LATAM markets.
• Generate and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects through outbound prospecting, networking and relationship‑building.
• Manage the full sales cycle—from initial contact, presentations and product demos in Spanish or Portuguese, to proposal preparation, RFP responses, negotiation and contract signing.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to tailor solutions that meet client requirements and support digital transformation initiatives.
• Represent the company at conferences, trade shows and industry events across the region.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and provide regular pipeline updates and forecasts.

Required profile

• Fluency in written and spoken Spanish and/or Portuguese.
• 3–7 years of proven B2G or enterprise software sales experience.
• Strong understanding of public‑sector procurement processes.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Willingness to travel throughout LATAM as needed.
