Business Solutions Specialist

About the role

ScotiaTech, the technology hub of Scotiabank in Bogota, is looking for a Business Solutions Specialist to support Engineering & Architecture (E&A) globally. The role will assist with contract renewals, financial tracking, budgeting and vendor management, ensuring alignment with the bank’s strategies and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage annual hardware and software maintenance contract renewals and monitor related spend across assigned vendors.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional internal teams and vendors to gather requirements, support renewal activities, resolve discrepancies and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Maintain and update financial databases, records and supporting documentation to ensure data accuracy.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual operating budget, forecasts and ongoing financial reporting.
• Prepare reports, summaries and analyses to support business decisions and operational reviews.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to execute initiatives, resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of deliverables.
• Apply the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture to day‑to‑day activities and decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in business operations, financial coordination, contract administration or a similar support function.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, inclusive and high‑performing environment.
• Understanding of compliance, AML/ATF, sanctions and conduct risk considerations.
