Category Manager

About the role

Drive hyper‑growth and profitability for the Home category at Addi by executing data‑driven commercial strategies, expanding high‑converting catalog selections, and aligning merchant, marketing, and marketplace operations.

Key responsibilities

• Establish a centralized category intelligence system using SQL, Databricks and Looker to monitor GMV, conversion, and take rate, and to detect anomalies early.
• Optimize pricing, catalog mix and promotions through elasticity models, competitive benchmarking and inventory analysis to protect GMV and prevent stockouts.
• Provide market and competitive analytics to support KAM/Sales teams in merchant negotiations and align category goals across Sales, Marketing and Product.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in business analytics, category management or revenue/pricing strategy within e‑commerce, retail or marketplace ecosystems.
• Strong commercial instinct and proven ability to translate complex data into actionable business decisions.
• Experience with merchant negotiations, especially in Home or White Goods categories.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL querying (CTEs, window functions, multi‑table joins).
• Proficiency with modern BI and data platforms such as Databricks, Looker, BigQuery or Snowflake.
• Analytical modeling techniques including price elasticity, demand forecasting, cohort analysis and A/B test evaluation.
