Hunter Marketplace Lead

About the role

Lead the acceleration of marketplace GMV by sourcing, negotiating and closing Tier 1 and Tier 2 merchants. You will own the cross‑functional pipeline governance that enables faster deal closures across sales, marketing and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Onboard 24 active Tier 1 and Tier 2 merchants through targeted outbound strategies and multi‑category sales cycles.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of 100‑120 prospective merchant accounts, prioritising high‑value leads and enforcing stage‑progression criteria.
• Lead weekly commercial and onboarding reviews, track merchant acquisition journey, and resolve operational bottlenecks.
• Drive monthly cross‑sell reviews to increase merchant activations from 14 to 20 per month.
• Ensure CRM accuracy in Salesforce, audit sales stages and provide reliable metrics for executive forecasting.

Required profile

• Executive presence with C‑suite influence, fluent in Spanish and English.
• Proven experience in strategic prospecting, pipeline architecture and complex multi‑threaded negotiations.
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of retail unit economics.
• Ability to thrive in a high‑growth, ambiguous startup environment with autonomy and resilience.

Required skills

• Advanced use of Salesforce CRM.
• Experience with HubSpot CRM.
