Central Ops Strategy Manager

About the role

The Business Planning Strategy Manager will own resource allocation across DiDi's portfolio, designing the methodology and decision framework that drives budget distribution. This senior individual‑contributor role influences investment decisions across markets and works closely with Operations, Growth, and Finance.

Key responsibilities

• Own budget allocation across markets and segments, building and defending investment cases.
• Design and implement repeatable frameworks and decision rules for budget splits.
• Set and cascade operational targets, translating financial commitments into market‑level goals.
• Run quantitative analyses to size opportunities, quantify trade‑offs, and make clear recommendations.
• Partner with Operations, Growth, and Finance, providing inputs that shape their workstreams.
• Mentor junior analysts and lead projects without direct people management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, mathematics, data science, business or a related quantitative field.
• ~5+ years of experience in strategy, business planning, BizOps, FP&A, top‑tier consulting, investment banking or private equity.
• Proven track record of owning a planning or resource‑allocation process end‑to‑end.
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
