Commercial Analyst (Claims Audit)

About the role

PRGX, a global provider of source-to-pay data analytics and software and tech-enabled profit recovery services, is hiring a Commercial Analyst (Analyst I) in Medellin, Colombia. The role works with client data to identify errors and recover revenue through claims production and audits.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audits without supervision using client data to identify errors and recover revenue
• Produce claims and review contracts, agreements, paperwork and electronic documents
• Analyse problems in the client's claims procedure and business operations using audit concepts
• Provide senior-level input and research on claims challenged by the client
• Perform quality control audits behind less experienced auditors, share best practices and train them
• Build relationships with vendors and develop new audit concepts to increase revenue
• Recommend, develop and implement changes in operations, audit activities, processes and tools
• Assist in designing project tools and adhere to audit cycle deadlines

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year of professional business experience in accounting or auditing-related work
• Fluent English and/or French (B2+)
• Authorized to work in Colombia without sponsorship
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods, type, read screens and documents, and communicate by call or video

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Access and PowerPoint (pivot tables, queries)
• Understanding of AR, AP and procurement functions
• Proficiency with core ERP systems and ability to learn new ones quickly
