Commercial Contracts & Regulatory Compliance Specialist

About the role

Identidad Tech is launching its first Legal & Regulatory function and needs a dedicated specialist to manage international commercial contracts and telecom regulatory compliance. You will work directly with the CEO and collaborate closely with commercial and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review, redline, and manage commercial contracts with clients and vendors across the U.S., U.K., and other jurisdictions.
• Own day‑to‑day contract flow, including novation letters, credit changes, operational addenda, and NDAs.
• Draft and review agreements for globally distributed independent contractors.
• Track telecom regulatory compliance (FCC, Ofcom, GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and maintain an annual compliance calendar.
• Support contracts and compliance matters in the U.K. and the Balkans with local external counsel.
• Escalate commercial issues to the VP of Commercial, legal matters to the CFO, and specialized topics to external counsel.

Required profile

• Law degree (Abogado, Paralegal, LLB or equivalent) with knowledge applicable to U.S. and international commercial contracts.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Advanced English (C1+) – written and spoken.
• Lives in Bogotá and can work on‑site for the first six months.

• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance – ability to read regulations, build checklists, and maintain audit‑ready documentation.
• Autonomous, clear writing, and organized document management.
• Comfort using AI tools in daily work.
