Contract Administrator – Mining Projects

About the role
The Contract Administrator will oversee the full lifecycle of contract management for mining projects, ensuring alignment with best practices and project objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze contracting strategies and prepare bidding documents, identifying risks and exposures.
- Lead bidding processes, conduct technical and commercial evaluations, and manage communications with internal stakeholders.
- Monitor contractor technical and administrative compliance, support schedule recovery, and manage change requests.
- Maintain risk registers, identify potential claims, and conduct post‑execution contractor evaluations.
Required profile
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years experience in mining projects, preferably with field exposure.
- Native Spanish speaker; fluent English preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication and coordination skills.
Required skills
- Contract administration and bidding expertise.
- Risk analysis and SWOT assessment.
- Familiarity with PMI and AACE methodologies.
