Corporate Counsel (Hybrid) – Colombia

About the role

The Counsel will provide corporate legal advice to internal teams, manage contracts, corporate documents, notarial and registry matters, permits and administrative proceedings related to the company’s operations. The role requires strong legal judgment and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams, external counsel and public authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and close corporate and contractual documents such as lease agreements, contractor agreements, real‑estate purchase agreements and letters of intent.
• Provide timely legal advice to internal teams to support business decisions and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate notarial, registry and public‑registry procedures and maintain proper documentation.
• Obtain, review and analyse certificates, permits, licenses and authorisations required for telecommunications infrastructure.
• Represent the company in administrative proceedings before municipal and other public entities.
• Serve as liaison with external counsel, consultants, notaries and authorities, ensuring quality and timely deliverables.

Required profile

• Valid legal title issued by the competent authority and a professional attorney licence.
• More than 5 years of experience practising law, especially in real‑estate matters and administrative proceedings.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (preferred).
• Strong organisational skills, ability to work under pressure and respond to urgent requests.
