Data and Analytics Engineer

About the role

Amrize is seeking a Data and Analytics Engineer to design, build, and maintain data and analytics solutions that turn business needs into actionable insights. You will work autonomously on corporate platforms and collaborate closely with business units to support strategic and operational decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, stories, and analytical applications in QlikSense, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP Datasphere.
• Build analytical and machine‑learning models (classification, regression, segmentation) to generate business value.
• Perform exploratory and statistical analysis to identify patterns, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Gather requirements, validate data quality, and train end users on self‑service BI tools.
• Optimize SQL queries and ETL processes for performance and response time.
• Implement quality controls and data‑governance procedures for pipelines and data sources.
• Document architecture, logic, and methodology of delivered solutions.
• Collaborate with Finance Reporting & Analytics and other stakeholders to deliver governed SAP Analytics Cloud and Datasphere solutions.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or related field; postgraduate studies in Analytics/Data Science preferred.
• 4‑6 years of experience independently building data pipelines, dashboards/reports, and analytical models.
• Experience with financial or business processes is a plus.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
