Lead Project Manager

About the role

The Global Business Services Center Service Management team at Mastercard supports the Shared Services Organization across finance, people, and law verticals. As Lead Project Manager you will be responsible for planning, developing and executing projects that improve processes, tools and overall service delivery, while coordinating global relationships with internal stakeholders and third‑party providers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop and execute schedules to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
• Provide insights to enhance processes and tooling, supporting implementation best practices and continuous improvement.
• Develop, run and distribute status and progress reports for leadership and project teams.
• Communicate regularly with senior management on the status of specific deliverables.
• Perform analysis and assessment activities to give stakeholders timely updates.

Required profile

• Experience in large‑scale, cross‑functional transformation initiatives.
• Proven ability to evaluate business processes and apply Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
• Professional services or consulting background is a plus.
• Solid project or program management experience with a clear understanding of the project lifecycle.
• Experience with risk management, strategic judgement and business process assessment.
• Excellent written, oral and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to analyse operational data to support business decisions and drive process optimisation.
• Familiarity with Human Resources functions, platforms and organisations is a plus.
