Data Engineer – Latin America

About the role

Data Engineer with consulting focus, delivering data environments quickly using modern technologies for a broad client base across Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Develop scalable, secure data pipelines and ingestion interfaces following best practices and data models.
• Collaborate with leadership and analytics teams to design and implement end‑to‑end data solutions.
• Triage and diagnose system or performance issues, supporting critical downtimes and releases.
• Mentor junior developers and establish communication mechanisms with project delivery teams.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of data engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• SQL development and querying.
• Experience with modern data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric).
• ETL tools (Keboola, FiveTran, Matillion, DBT, SSIS, Alteryx).
• Data warehouse technologies (BigQuery, AWS Aurora/Redshift, Oracle).
• Python or R for data processing.
• Data modeling and relational database design.
• Knowledge of Spark, Hadoop, NoSQL.
