Data Tech Lead – Databricks

About the role

We partner with global enterprises to design and scale data platforms that power products used by millions. As a Data Tech Lead you will own the technical direction of data initiatives while staying hands‑on, bridging architecture, execution, and people leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the architecture of data engineering projects, ensuring scalability and production‑grade quality.
• Design and build data pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, AWS, and SQL.
• Lead by example through hands‑on development, code reviews, and technical decision‑making.
• Mentor data engineers, promote clean code, and uphold high engineering standards.
• Drive architectural discussions, evaluate trade‑offs, and shape long‑term technical vision.
• Collaborate closely with product, data, and engineering stakeholders to solve enterprise‑scale challenges.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
• Proven track record as a Tech Lead, Lead Data Engineer, or similar position.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence technical decisions.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
