About the role
Kyndryl is seeking a Database Administration Engineer to manage and administer the backbone of its technological infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
Key responsibilities
- Configure, install, and maintain database management systems to keep them running at peak performance.
- Manage user access, set security protocols, and protect data from unauthorized access and external threats.
- Conduct capacity planning and growth projections to ensure system scalability.
- Develop backup and recovery plans and support end users and developers with complex database issues.
Required profile
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016 implementation and management.
- Hands‑on experience with VMware ESXi.
- Knowledge of public and private cloud management, especially migration from on‑premises to cloud environments.
Required skills
- Automation experience, particularly Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
- Vulnerability management.
- On‑premises AD FS with Microsoft Active Directory and/or Azure AD.
