Demand Planner / Product Development

About the role

Slate Brands builds and operates beauty and fragrance brands in-house, managing them from concept to shelf. It is hiring a full-time remote Demand Planner / Product Development professional who forecasts demand, plans inventory and supports the development of new beauty and fragrance products.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze sales trends and build demand plans
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers and monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or excess inventory
• Partner with brand, marketing and operations teams to turn concepts into product specifications, timelines and cost targets
• Manage the product development process from ideation through launch
• Prepare reports and dashboards, support scenario planning and refine forecasts based on market feedback and performance

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in demand planning, inventory management or supply chain analysis, ideally in consumer goods, beauty or fragrance
• Background in product development, including product specifications, timelines, costing and lifecycle management
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Comfort with ambiguity and fast-paced environments, and ability to work remotely

Required skills

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including spreadsheets, forecasting tools and data visualization or reporting platforms
• Familiarity with ERP systems, supply chain planning tools and product lifecycle management is beneficial
