DevSecOps Engineer – Remote

About the role

As a DevSecOps Engineer at BairesDev, you will embed security directly into the development lifecycle, ensuring that protection is built into automated workflows while maintaining rapid release cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automated security gates within CI/CD pipelines to detect vulnerabilities early.
• Develop and enforce security standards using Policy as Code and advanced secrets‑management strategies.
• Integrate container and infrastructure scanning tools to keep production environments secure and compliant.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to promote secure‑by‑design principles and remediate findings.
• Monitor the security posture of delivery pipelines and proactively manage risks.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, or cybersecurity engineering.
• Proven ability to integrate security tooling such as Snyk, Trivy, or Aqua into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Policy as Code (e.g., Open Policy Agent) and secrets management.
• Deep understanding of container security and Infrastructure as Code best practices.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
