Driver – Administration Section

About the role

The European Union Delegation in Bogotá seeks a professional driver to support the Administration Section. Working under the supervision of the Head of Administration, the driver will provide safe and reliable transport for senior staff, guests, and official documents across the city and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the Head of Delegation, staff members and guests to meetings, events and mission locations, both during regular hours and as needed after hours.
• Collect and deliver mail, official documents and parcels to government agencies, NGOs and other destinations in Bogotá.
• Maintain accurate vehicle logs, recording daily mileage and usage.
• Ensure all mandatory vehicle documents (insurance, registration, etc.) are current and stored in the vehicle.
• Perform routine vehicle checks – tyre pressure, lights, fluid levels – and keep the vehicle clean and fuelled.
• Report maintenance needs to the office manager and track service records.

Required profile

• Valid Colombian driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends.
• Good knowledge of Bogotá’s road network and traffic regulations.
• Reliability, discretion and a professional attitude when representing the Delegation.
