Economic Researcher

About the role

CRISIL Limited is seeking an Economic Researcher to lead research production and analytics for its cross-asset strategy platform. The role combines macroeconomic modeling, data automation and dashboard creation to support senior stakeholders across rates, credit, FX, commodities and economies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage research production and the analytics layer for the cross-asset strategy platform.
• Develop and maintain economic and cross-asset models.
• Create standardized chart and data libraries, as well as publication and deck templates.
• Assemble publications, decks and exhibits for senior stakeholders.
• Implement Python-based automation to make research production scalable and repeatable across business lines.
• Build repeatable dashboards and scorecards using MS-Excel, Power BI or Tableau covering rates, credit, FX, commodities and economies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, finance, statistics or a related quantitative discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in macro, cross-asset or investment research, or analytics-focused roles.
• Hands-on experience with data analytics across rates, credit, FX, commodities and macroeconomies, including model support and publication preparation.
• Strong understanding of macroeconomics, financial markets and cross-asset strategies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
