Engineering Manager – Remote

About the role

Lead a team of engineers building scalable, ML‑driven software products while staying hands‑on with code, system design, and architectural decisions. This remote position combines technical leadership with a focus on team growth and product impact.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and hire top‑tier ML engineers, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance culture.
• Collaborate with Product, Data, ML, and Design teams to define and deliver ambitious roadmaps.
• Write, review, and ship production‑grade code when needed.
• Drive architectural decisions to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Oversee technical execution of ML features, working closely with data scientists and ML engineers.

Required profile

• 7+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in a technical leadership or engineering management role.
• Strong programming skills in modern languages such as TypeScript, Python, Go, or Java.
• Deep understanding of system design, APIs, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), and software architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with data‑driven applications or close collaboration with ML teams.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
