Engineering Project Coordinator

About the role

The Project Coordinator supports the successful delivery of engineering and construction projects by assisting senior staff with project setup, document management, and administrative tasks. This role ensures project information is accurate, accessible, and aligned with client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Set up new project files, organize initial project information, and assist with data collection for project initiation.
• Support document control, file RFI responses, BFAs, payments, change orders, and purchase orders; keep files updated in SharePoint, Bluebeam, and other platforms.
• Update drawings, manage revisions, and submit delivery packages to customers while maintaining accurate logs.
• Handle external communications, address customer requests, and follow up on missing information.
• Participate in quality management initiatives and provide additional operational support as needed.

Required profile

• Associate degree or higher in engineering, construction management, business administration, or related field (preferred).
• 1–2 years of experience in project support, administrative, or document control roles; entry‑level candidates and recent graduates are also welcome.
• Familiarity with construction, steel detailing, or engineering industries.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience with Bluebeam.
• Knowledge of SharePoint for document management.
