Executive Assistant to General Manager – Wellness Venue

About the role

We are seeking an Executive Assistant to the General Manager for a new social‑wellness venue in Medellín. The role supports the GM from the final pre‑launch phase through opening day and daily operations, ensuring the space delivers a premium, restorative experience.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate material sourcing, supplier relationships and delivery logistics during pre‑launch.
• Assist with construction oversight, tracking progress and flagging issues.
• Support hiring processes: screen candidates, schedule interviews and onboard early team members.
• Develop SOPs and staff training materials before opening.
• Open and close the facility, manage daily checklists and readiness.
• Perform basic sauna and cold‑plunge maintenance, including temperature calibration and water chemistry.
• Maintain plant care, common areas and overall facility appearance.
• Handle POS transactions, reporting and employee scheduling.
• Provide personalized guest service, resolve complaints and embody the venue’s values.
• Act as the GM’s operational right‑hand, triaging issues and making decisions on‑site.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in hospitality, hotel, spa or food & beverage operations.
• Fluent English (B2) with strong written and spoken skills.
• Detail‑oriented, action‑biased and comfortable in a fast‑moving startup environment.
• Genuine interest in wellness and willingness to relocate to Medellín.

Required skills

• Experience with POS systems such as Square or Mindbody.
• Familiarity with scheduling tools.
