Finance Lead

About the role

Dapta is seeking its first Finance Lead to own the entire finance function, from month‑end close to the financial narrative presented to investors. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will build a scalable finance operation for a fast‑growing AI‑driven SaaS company.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day finance operations: monthly close, financial statements, accounts payable/receivable.
• Oversee external accountants, vendors, and banking relationships, ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Conduct expense and cost analysis to clarify COGS and gross margin by product and segment.
• Lead financial planning and forecasting: budgeting, rolling forecasts, scenario modeling, runway and burn analysis.
• Handle tax strategy and compliance for LATAM and US entities, including cross‑border transfers and treasury.
• Drive the financial workstream for fundraising: build models, SaaS metrics, unit economics, data‑room preparation, and due‑diligence support.

Required profile

• 3+ years of finance experience, preferably in investment banking or consulting.
• Strong English proficiency (B2+).
• Proven ability to work autonomously and raise issues early.

Required skills

• Financial modeling from scratch.
• Preparation and analysis of financial statements.
• Budgeting and forecasting.
• Tax compliance and cross‑border treasury management.
• SaaS metrics analysis (MRR, churn, NRR, CAC, LTV, cohorts).
• Experience with accounting systems and business‑intelligence tools.
