Finance Systems Accountant

About the role

The Finance Systems Accountant bridges Financial Control and Systems Architecture, providing US‑timezone coverage and supporting the Senior Finance Systems Admin. You will own Salesforce Billing configurations and ensure seamless data flow into Sage Intacct, aligning system behavior with accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Translate technical accounting requirements into Salesforce Billing configurations (GL rules, revenue recognition, tax).
• Identify system gaps, propose compliant solutions, and maintain alignment with IFRS 15 and ASC 606.
• Partner with the Senior Finance Systems Admin to share workload and create redundancy.
• Support new product launches by validating that system changes do not disrupt GL syncs.
• Act as gatekeeper for financial configurations, preventing downstream issues and manual workarounds.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of technical accounting concepts and revenue recognition standards.
• Experience working with Salesforce Billing and ERP integrations, preferably Sage Intacct.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and IT teams.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on data integrity and compliance.
