Financial Analyst

About the role

The Financial Analyst will support PayJoy's finance and FP&A functions, contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will work closely with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate analysis and reporting in line with the company’s aggressive growth goals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling for business planning and pricing evaluation.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, comparing actual results with budgets and forecasts.
• Support modeling of future partnership opportunities and collaborate with departments to gather data for analysis.
• Work with accounting to reconcile Local GAAP versus US GAAP and help operations with merchant payments and transaction reconciliation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and proactive problem‑solving skills.
• Understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and GAAP/NIF standards.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and Google Suite proficiency.
• Data analysis software experience.
• Familiarity with NetSuite (plus).
• Experience with PBCS/Hyperion (plus).
