Senior Accountant, Revenue

About the role

Slalom is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead revenue cycle accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with ASC 606 and ASC 326. The role involves end‑to‑end oversight of the order‑to‑cash process and collaboration across finance and operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own general ledger accounting for accounts receivable, contract assets, liabilities, write‑offs and adjustments.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, analytical reviews and variance analysis.
• Develop and support credit loss estimates (CECL/ASC 326) and rebate accruals.
• Review customer contracts using the ASC 606 five‑step model and assess collectability.
• Perform O2C assurance reviews, identify risks, and partner with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain and enhance controls over revenue transactions and support internal and external audits.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience in mid‑size or fast‑growing companies.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, especially ASC 606 and ASC 326.
• University degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, look‑ups, complex formulas).
• Power BI and Power Query reporting tools.
• SQL for large data set analysis.
• Oracle ERP experience.
• Knowledge of contract review and accounting estimates.
