Financial Risk Specialist - Market, Credit and Liquidity Risk

About the role

A multinational group is hiring a Financial Risk Specialist in Bogota to identify, measure, control and monitor its exposure to market risk. The role ensures the proper functioning of the Market Risk Management System (SARM), Liquidity Risk (SARL) and Credit Risk (SARC) in line with local regulations, the Board of Directors and the Parent Company.

Key responsibilities

• Propose, implement and update the risk governance framework, and design models, methodologies and procedures for managing market, credit and liquidity risks.
• Evaluate risk limits by business line and operation, and object to operations that do not comply with risk policies or limits.
• Provide risk exposure reports to the Risk Committee and Board of Directors, including sensitivity analysis and stress testing.
• Ensure daily, weekly and monthly reporting on market risk management, counterparty risk and results to the Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia (SFC).
• Monitor minimum capital levels and the relationship between business lines and technical equity.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or Finance; a post-graduate degree in Risk Management or Finance is preferred.
• Proven experience in financial risk management and regulatory reporting.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of market risk, credit risk and liquidity risk.
