Founding Chief Business Officer (CBO) – AI Startup

About the role

We are launching a new AI company within the FunPlus Group and need a founding Chief Business Officer to design and build the commercial engine from scratch. This is a true company‑building position, equivalent to a commercial co‑founder, reporting directly to the executive team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the AI commercialization strategy across enterprise, SaaS, API and platform ecosystems.
• Design business models and lead global enterprise customer acquisition, securing flagship early customers.
• Build strategic partnerships with cloud providers, AI platforms and ecosystem partners.
• Own and execute the go‑to‑market (GTM) strategy in close collaboration with product and engineering.
• Establish the initial commercial organization (business development, sales, partnerships) and drive early revenue.
• Implement scalable growth systems and processes.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, partnerships or GTM.
• Proven track record in AI, cloud or SaaS enterprise software, closing large deals ($100K–$5M+).
• Experience building or scaling 0‑to‑1 commercial systems.
• Deep understanding of AI products, APIs and platform business models.
• Experience in global or North American enterprise markets is a plus.
