Fractional IT Systems Administrator (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) IT Systems Administrator to join a growing international nonprofit on a long‑term contract basis. The position starts with building, organizing, and standardizing the organization’s IT environment, then shifts to a fractional role focused on ongoing maintenance, security, and user support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 environments, including user accounts, groups, permissions, and shared drives.
• Configure and maintain endpoint devices, laptop provisioning, and hardware/software inventory.
• Perform periodic security reviews, system audits, and incident response.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, SOPs, and knowledge bases.
• Provide technical support for Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, authentication, MFA, and general IT issues.
• Coordinate with software vendors when needed.

Required profile

• Professional fluency in English and Spanish.
• Proven experience administering Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
• Strong background in user/account management, permissions, and identity controls.
• Hands‑on experience with MFA implementation and security best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to document systems and processes.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
