Fraud Prevention Advisor

About the role

The Fraud Prevention Advisor acts as the strategic fraud prevention expert for AppGate’s 360 Fraud Protection business across Latin America. You will work closely with Sales and Customer Success teams to shape solution strategies for financial institutions and influence new business and renewals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategy‑level fraud prevention conversations with senior stakeholders at banks and fintechs, identifying pain points and proposing tailored solutions.
• Support sales and renewal processes by partnering with Sales, Strategic Accounts and Customer Success to close deals across the region.
• Research emerging fraud trends and translate findings into presentation material and training content for internal and client use.
• Design and deliver fraud prevention training courses using instructional design tools and AI.
• Represent AppGate as a speaker at leading fraud‑prevention forums throughout Latin America.
• Provide market feedback to Product and Marketing to shape roadmap for 360 Brand Guardian, 360 Risk Control and 360 Adaptive Authentication.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in fraud prevention, risk management or fraud strategy within a financial institution or a fraud‑prevention solutions provider.
• Deep knowledge of digital fraud typologies affecting banks and fintechs (account takeover, social engineering, phishing, smishing, brand impersonation, mule accounts).
• Proven ability to conduct consultative, strategy‑level discussions with senior stakeholders and influence buying decisions.
• Fluent Spanish and professional proficiency in English.
