Freelance Social Media Manager – Food Industry

About the role

We are seeking a freelance Social Media Manager with proven experience in the food sector to boost the online presence of our client’s brands. The role is fully remote and focuses on creating engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other relevant platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow the company’s social media profiles on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and additional platforms.
• Develop, schedule and publish compelling posts, stories and short‑form videos.
• Create and maintain content calendars aligned with business objectives.
• Write persuasive captions and optimise posts for maximum reach and engagement.
• Monitor comments, messages and audience interactions, responding when appropriate.
• Track performance metrics, analyse data and deliver regular reports.
• Stay updated on platform trends, algorithm changes and emerging best practices.
• Collaborate with the client to ensure a consistent brand voice.

Required profile

• Demonstrated success managing social media for restaurants, food brands or similar businesses.
• Strong portfolio showcasing measurable results and creative campaigns.
• Excellent written and verbal English (C1 level or higher) with a neutral accent.
• Highly organised, reliable and able to work independently during Eastern Time business hours.
