French-Speaking Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a French‑speaking Accountant to join our international team in Barranquilla. The role involves managing daily accounting tasks while supporting French‑language clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and present financial reports.
• Perform account reconciliations and identify discrepancies.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Support tax documentation and compliance processes.
• Communicate with French‑speaking clients and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Collaborate on financial projects and process improvements.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, tax, audit, accounts payable/receivable or financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in French (required); English is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, detail‑orientation and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Excel and accounting software is preferred.
