Global Compensation and Benefits Specialist

About the role

This role manages and administers compensation and benefits programs across the United States and Latin America, keeping them aligned with company strategy and local market practices. It covers annual compensation cycles, benefits administration, compliance and reporting, and works closely with HR, payroll, finance and legal.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and administer compensation and benefits programs in the USA and Latin America
• Conduct market benchmarking and salary analysis to keep pay competitive and equitable
• Support annual compensation cycles: salary reviews, merit increases, bonuses, promotions and job leveling
• Advise HR and business leaders on hiring, internal mobility and retention
• Analyze compensation data, trends and internal equity
• Coordinate benefits administration: enrollments, renewals, vendor management and employee support
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations and compensation/benefits requirements in the USA and LATAM
• Help design, implement and improve compensation frameworks, policies and benefit programs
• Prepare reports, dashboards and presentations on compensation metrics, headcount and benefits utilization
• Collaborate with payroll, finance, legal and HR; support global mobility, allowances and regional compensation initiatives
• Maintain employee compensation and benefits records in HRIS systems and support audits and compliance reviews

Required profile

• Prior experience managing compensation and benefits processes in both the USA and LATAM
• Experience with multinational or regional organizations
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
• Advanced English (written and verbal)
