Global IT Asset Manager

About the role

The Global IT Asset Manager operationalizes the IT Asset Management (ITAM) framework so that asset records, lifecycle events and controls are executed consistently across regions, platforms and asset classes. The role turns policies, standards and governance into reliable, auditable data and outcomes, acting as the operational backbone of ITAM.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and oversee hardware and non-license asset lifecycle activities (onboarding, deployment, redeployment, refresh, retirement) and record them accurately in Flexera, supporting secure decommissioning with regional teams.
• Maintain accurate, complete and timely asset records in Flexera, monitor data quality and drive remediation with regional ITAM teams.
• Lead and coordinate a network of regional/local ITAM technical representatives, provide operational guidance and set global standards for hardware tagging, discovery and data entry.
• Manage the Flexera platform: coordinate configuration, integrations and enhancements, act as the main point of contact with Flexera support, and validate configuration changes and updates.
• Produce operational reports and executive dashboards on inventory, lifecycle status and data quality, and identify improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Experience in IT Asset Management, IT Operations, Service Desk or IT Support roles.
• Hands-on experience maintaining asset inventories and lifecycle records.
• Exposure to audits, license reviews or compliance checks.
• Ability to work in global, multi-region environments with standardized processes.

Required skills

• IT asset inventory management and lifecycle tracking, including license tracking and compliance checks.
• Experience with ITAM and CMDB tools to update, reconcile and report asset data.
• Reporting and data quality analysis.
• Awareness of ITSM and audit and compliance support.
