GMP Technician – Cleanroom Operations

About the role

The GMP Technician is responsible for maintaining assigned cleanroom areas in a GMP‑controlled environment. The role involves performing sanitization, cleaning, and routine maintenance tasks while following strict safety and SOP guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Perform repetitive cleaning and sanitization duties, including walls, floors, windows, and equipment, to keep the GMP area compliant.
• Follow all safety rules, wear proper PPE, and report any hazards or maintenance issues.
• Complete daily FN logs, punch‑list items, and work orders accurately.
• Support shift lead with work orders, area fill‑in duties, and customer requests.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (preferred) with 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification and a valid driver’s license (if required by business needs).
• Completed safety, task training, and gowning certifications; forklift certification may be required.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and proper use of cleaning compounds and chemicals.
• Ability to read and interpret SOPs, manuals, and safety instructions.
• Experience with chemical safety, PPE usage, and basic equipment maintenance.
• Forklift operation (if certified) and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
