GMP Technician

About the role

The GMP Technician ensures that assigned cleanroom areas remain clean, orderly, and compliant with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. You will work closely with shift leads, supervisors, and fellow technicians to maintain a safe and controlled environment.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures; intervene when risky behavior is observed.
• Perform repetitive cleaning and sanitization tasks in a GMP‑controlled area.
• Maintain a clean work area, use proper personal protective equipment, and present a professional appearance.
• Support shift leads by completing punch‑list items, work orders, and daily logs.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, co‑workers, customers, and managers.
• Complete all required training, certifications, and gowning procedures for the assigned area.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant cleaning or manufacturing experience (preferred).
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Ability to read and interpret SOPs, manuals, and safety instructions.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (if certification is required).
• Use of cleaning equipment and compounds in a GMP environment.
• GMP cleaning and sanitization procedures.
