GMP Technician

About the role

The GMP Technician ensures that assigned cleanroom areas remain clean, orderly, and compliant with GMP standards. Working as part of a team, the technician follows written and verbal instructions to maintain a safe and controlled environment.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures, and intervene when risky behavior is observed.
• Perform repetitive cleaning and sanitization tasks, maintaining a spotless work area.
• Use proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to gowning procedures.
• Support shift leads by completing punch‑list items, work orders, and shutdown cleaning.
• Document daily FN logs accurately and report maintenance issues.
• Maintain and operate cleaning equipment, ensuring proper upkeep.
• Respond professionally to customer requests and follow SOPs.
• Act as a fill‑in for staff shortages when needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience (preferred).
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Completed safety and task‑training certifications; forklift certification may be required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Operation of cleaning equipment and sanitization tools.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, compounds, and chemical safety.
• Proper use of PPE and gowning procedures.
• Forklift operation (if certified).
• CPR/AED/First Aid (if certified).
