Head of Corporate FX Sales – Director (Colombia)

About the role

The Head of Corporate FX Sales in Colombia leads a team of six sales professionals and co‑manages product experts, driving the delivery of foreign‑exchange derivative solutions to corporate clients. Reporting to senior leadership, the role shapes and executes the functional strategy, ensuring profitable growth and strong client relationships across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of salespeople and coordinate with digital and regional FX product experts.
• Originate, structure and execute FX derivative solutions, including hedging, options and other structured products.
• Build and maintain senior‑level relationships with CFOs, Finance Directors, Risk Managers and Treasurers.
• Collaborate with internal coverage groups, product teams, legal, compliance, risk and finance to deliver tailored solutions.
• Drive revenue growth, increase share‑of‑wallet and expand the sales flow business.
• Manage budgeting, planning, performance evaluation, hiring and disciplinary actions for the unit.
• Analyze client exposures and business models to propose appropriate FX strategies.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate foreign‑exchange sales and derivative products.
• Proven leadership of sales teams with full P&L responsibility.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to implement functional strategies.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills at senior internal and external levels.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with product, risk, legal and compliance partners.

Required skills

• Knowledge of foreign‑exchange derivatives, structured hedging and options.
• Understanding of other asset classes is preferred.
