About the role

This is a high‑visibility leadership position responsible for more than 1,000 employees. We are seeking a Head of HR & Staffing in Medellín to own our high‑volume recruitment engine and full HR operations across local studio locations.

Key responsibilities

• Own high‑volume recruitment (500+ positions) end‑to‑end, including interviewing during peak ramp‑ups and later monitoring and quality control.
• Lead operational and commercial relationships with Temporary Staffing Companies (ESTs), negotiate rates, monitor legal compliance and manage day‑to‑day agency performance.
• Define and enforce HR policies across both locations, manage employee relations, disciplinary processes, off‑boarding and ensure strict compliance with Colombian labor law and SG‑SST protocols.
• Design retention strategies, track early attrition and first‑week adaptation to continuously refine recruitment and selection quality.
• Design and manage HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, time‑to‑hire, recruitment effectiveness) and oversee total‑rewards, shift‑premium budgets and overall HR spending.
• Lead and mentor the HR and Payroll team on‑site, acting as a direct advisor to Management and Operations on all workforce matters.

Required profile

• 8+ years progressive experience in Talent Acquisition or HR leadership (Senior HRBP, TA Director, HR Manager or HR Leader), preferably in shift‑based front‑line industries.
• 3+ years leading high‑volume/mass recruitment operations with a proven track record of managing 500+ hires simultaneously or consecutively.
• Strong working knowledge of Colombian labor law (shift rules, night/Sunday/holiday recargos, overtime, prestaciones) and SG‑SST implementation.
• Data‑driven mindset comfortable managing HR budgets, shift math and operational HR KPIs.
• Advanced English (C1+) and fluent Spanish.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Medellín with daily on‑site presence across both studio locations.
