HR Associate - Employee Wellness and Events

About the role

Stanley Black & Decker is hiring an HR Associate in Medellín, Colombia, working in a hybrid arrangement. The role sits within the Human Resources team and focuses on employee wellness, engagement and event coordination for the Medellín site and across Colombia.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and run employee wellness and engagement activities for the Medellín site and support initiatives across Colombia.
• Coordinate corporate celebrations and special events such as Women's Day, Men's Day, Children's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween and year-end events.
• Manage the full administrative process for events, including quotations, approvals, purchase orders, invoices and payment follow-up.
• Organize event logistics, including attendance lists, reservations, catering, prizes, setup and closing activities.
• Lead employee recognition programs, including birthday celebrations and service anniversary initiatives.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with external benefit providers such as gyms, language institutes and other vendors.
• Promote employee benefits and support participants by answering questions.
• Support office visits and internal space coordination, including meeting rooms, auditoriums, visitor access and refreshments.
• Administer parking processes, including registrations, updates, removals and invoice reconciliation.

Required profile

• Professional or final-semester student in Psychology, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Communications or a related field.
• Intermediate English (B1-B2) for communication with global teams.
• Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, filters).
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365: Outlook, Teams, Forms and SharePoint.
